My name is Mary Bostian and I am 41 years young. I am a mother, a
student, a partner, recovering addict and
alchoholic, a Christian and a
zoo-keeper.

I live with
my partner, Danica in a three bedroom home in Columbus,
Ohio.
I have schizoaffective disorder/bi-polar type and ADHD.
I am on
disability and work part time. I also go to school full time. I have three
children.
Here
are the most important people in my life:
B.J., age 21, is now living with me while he is in welding school.
He
also just got a job at Toy R Us with me. He worked on a farm for 5
years until he went back to school.
Chrissy, age 18, lives with her father, but spends much of her time
with me. She is a senior in high school.
She is a musician, playing the
tuba and trombone. She will likely get a music scholarship to college
and major
in music education.
Emily, age 17, also lives with her father. She is the hardest working
kid I know.
She plays the trumpet and sings. She has a boyfriend of 2
years and wants to marry him when they both get out of
college.
Danica, my partner, was my best friend in high school. We both went
our seperate ways, met back
up 2 years ago and have been together since.
I look forward to a long life with her. We love each other deeply.
She has chronic lymphocytic leukemia in the earliest stages and severe
fibromyalgia. I do a lot of caretaking.
I am hoping that my site will inspire others to do what I am even with a mental illness.
